VALDEZ, Roberto L.

Roberto L. "El Viejo" Valdez, 69, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2003. He was employed by Capitol Casting Division in Tempe, for 44 years. He was a hardworker and devoted his life to his family. He is preceded in death by his son Robert Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pomposa. Sons, Raul (Rosemary), Israel and Peter. Daughters, Gloria (Alfonso), Irene (Jesse), Anna (Jose), and Angie (Javier). Loving Grandchildren: Robbie, Vida, Carlos, Jessica, Mia, Michel, Vincent, Moises and Maya. Dad, we will miss your smile, sense of humor and generosity. "Take it easy, Pa, Vaya con Dios".

Visitation is June 2, Mon., 6pm-8pm, Sacred Heart Church, 1421 S. 12th St., Phoenix, AZ. Services are June 3, 9am, Sacred Heart Church, burial following at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, AZ.
