WEISS, Joseph A.

Joseph A. Weiss, 77, of Avondale, AZ, passed away May 28, 2003. Mr. Weiss was born May 8, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio. A Ret. Sargent 1st Class in the U.S. Army, Joe served 27 years. WWII, Korea, 2 tours in Viet Nam. He continued to serve his country by volunteering for the MIA & many other military services. The Purple Heart was among many of the medals he received.

He is survived by his beloved wife Irma, daughter Heidi, son Steve, two grandchildren Erika & Paul Desrochers and a brother Ken. 

Visitation will be held 4-6 PM, Sunday. Service will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Rd., Phoenix. Burial at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
