Leonard Nowak was born in Chicago, IL on July 10, 1914.
He was a Navy veteran. He and his family moved to Phoenix in 1957.
He worked at Honeywell as a model maker. He helped make the mold for the first ping putter. After he retired, he joined the small world miniature club. His miniatures won several awards. He was a good son, husband, and father, very loved and now greatly missed.
He was a beloved husband to his wife Vivian for 59 years and the best father and hero to Wayne, Mark and Lee. He was a loving grandfather to Josh and Hillary and a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. His relatives and friends will all miss him.
Leonard died on June 18, 2002.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 24, 2002 at St. Louis the King Catholic Church, 4331 West Maryland.
