DOYLE,
William Lynnine (Skynyrd)
William Lynnine (Skynyrd) Doyle, 48, native-born resident of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2002.
He worked in construction and concrete finishing for a short time before an accident, twenty-six years ago, that left him a paraplegic. His nickname, Skynyrd, was given to him because of his great, funny personality. Throughout the years he was and will remain a wonderful inspiration to everyone who knew him, whether it be family, friends,
or strangers.
He was predeceased by his father, retired Phoenix firefighter William Lynn Doyle. He is survived by his mother Marcella Gustafson, stepfather Ewald Gustafson, sisters Judy Cadriel (husband Marc), Alice Sweesey, Gayle Aasen (husband Rowan), Brenda Larson (husband Carl), Carrie Chaffin (husband Robert), half-sister Billie Sue Miller (husband Joe), brother Kenneth Doyle (wife Trina), two nieces, twelve nephews, their families, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Our thanks go out to his doctors, nurses, family and friends that helped him and kept him in their prayers throughout the years. Visitation and services are on Monday, June 24th, at Camelback Sunset
Chapel Funeral Home, 301 West Camelback Road, Phoenix, with internment following at Resthaven Cemetery West. Donations to Hospice of the Valley Coronado Home, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
