PHELPS, Charles William

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 26, 2003 Charles William Phelps, of Phoenix, entered into rest February 17, 2003 at the age of 70. He was born January 14, 1933 in La Porte, IN. Mr. Phelps is an Army Veteran. He was also Past Master of the Montezuma Masonic Lodge and was a 32 Degree Mason. He belonged to the El Zaribah Shrine Temple, Clown Unit, High Twelve Past Masters Club. Survivors include loving wife, Nancy; sons, Jeffrey and wife Robyn Phelps of Phoenix, Lance Phelps of Las Vegas, NV; grandsons, Nicholas and Zachary; and sister Janis Muir of Mountain Pine, AR. A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, March 2, 2003 at the Carl T. Hayden V.A. Medical Center Chapel, 650 E. Indian School Rd. in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 8126 N. 23rd Ave., Ste J., Phoenix, AZ 85021 and the Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital.
