BYERS, Forrest C. , Jr.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, March 6, 2003 Forrest C. Byers, Jr., 79, died in Peoria, AZ on February 24, 2003. Born in Oil City, PA on December 30, 1923; he is survived by his wife, Mary A. Byers, of Avondale, AZ; his daughter, Yolanda Eckert, of Sun City, AZ; granddaughter, LeAnn Pickett, of Prescott, AZ; grandson William Montney, of Phoenix, AZ; three great grandchildren; and his sister Marie Munchel, of York, PA. Forrest served in the Navy during WWII, after which he took up dairy farming near Tionesta, PA. He moved to Arizona in 1959, and has resided there ever since. Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 4806 W. Saguaro Park Lane in Glendale, AZ, on March 8, 2003 at 6:00 PM. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
