The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 26, 2003 John Sterbenz, 85 of Tempe died Saturday, February 22, 2003. He is survived by, three sons Dale, Dean, and Dennis and one daughter, Denise Allen of Tempe. John also leaves behind eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
