Alfred Philip Hanmer, was born in Lennon, MI and educated as an accountant at Wayne State University. He joined Hoskins & Sells and later moving to Midland, MI, became Dow Vice President and controller.
On retirement in 1980, he and his wife, Ann, moved to Scottsdale, AZ. He loved the sunshine.
He is survived by daughters, Janet Emmendorfer of Chesaning, MI & Nancy Makimoto of Sacramento, CA; step-son, Michael Driver of Boulder, CO; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary.
