Richard R. McCready, 80, of Sun City died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, in Sun City. 

He and his wife, Ardis, were from Aberdeen, S.D., and he was a professor at Arizona State University. He served in the Army Air Corps. 

Service is private. 

Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel handled arrangements.
