The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, March 6, 2003 Karen Sue Fogler, 56, of Chandler, AZ, went to be with the Lord after a 14 1/2 year battle with cancer on March 4, 2003. Born in Vandalia, Ill., she moved to Chandler in 1974 and was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church and an Administrative Associate with Arizona State University East for 25 yrs. Sue is survived by her husband of 32 years, LaVerne; parents Alma and Vernon Meyer; sister Peggy Bowen; brothers Marty, Randy, and Robert; in-laws, nieces, nephews, and lots of friends. She was an angel and angels are not ours to keep. They're ours to enjoy, learn from and behold until they return home. Sue will be sorely missed. Visitation Thurs., 5-7 pm at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W.
