FRIEDMAN, Victor B.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, March 7, 2003 Victor B. Friedman, age 91, passed away March 4, 2003 in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to moving to the Valley 43 years ago from Belleville, Illinois, he was an electrical contractor. Here in Arizona, Victor was involved in real estate development until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn "Shugie" Friedman. Victor is survived by his daughter, JoAnn (Bob) Friedman-Burgess; son Dennis Friedman, sister, Libby Friedman; nephew Michael (Helene) Fierman; niece, Roberta Brimer and other loving nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Edith Brossman; and loving companion Bee Turken. He also leaves his two special caregivers, Terrie Dahlgren and Tina Rubacalva. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, father-in-law, uncle and friend, and he will live within our hearts forever. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 6th at 11:00 A.M. in Beth Israel Cemetery, 305 S. 35th Avenue in Phoenix. Contributions are suggested to any charity of choice. Arrangements Sinai Mortuary.
