Hubert James Massey, 83, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2003. He was born April 4, 1919 in Norman, Oklahoma. His family moved to Gilbert when he was 6 years old. 

Hubert is survived by his wife, Stella; son, Leonard Massey and wife Rebecca; daughter, Debra Richardson and husband James; sisters, Marjorie Hills, Carol Cowart, Nola Fleetwood and Nina Daily; 4 grand-children, Roy Massey, Sherry McDaniels, Jeremy Richardson and Corey Marshall; and 1 great grandchild. Hubert was one bright spot in our family and will be greatly missed but never forgotten. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 11:00 AM, with visitation being held one hour prior, Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ.
