PHELPS, Donald Mark

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 27, 2003 Donald Mark Phelps, 42, of Phoenix (formerly of Side Lake MN) passed away Saturday February 22, 2003 as a result of a homicide. Don was a Journeyman electrician for 20yrs. He enjoyed hunting & fishing in MN. and camping in AZ with his son Shane. He liked handcrafting Niobium jewelry and writing poetry. He will be remembered for his sense of humor & his ability to turn an otherwise bad situation around with his amusing outlook on life. Don is survived by son; Shane E. Phelps of Mesa and father Paul E. Phelps Sr. of Side Lake MN; sister; Lora (Dave) Cobb of Phx. 4 other sisters & 5 brothers living out of state and numerous co-workers & friends in the valley. He was preceded in death by his mother Pauline Phelps in 1984.
