John "Jack" Wheeler, born in Chicago, IL on December 22, 1918. He went to be with his beloved wife Millie on February 22, 2003. Jack was a loving, caring, generous man who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jack loved bowling, gardening, and his Chicago Bulls and Cubs.
Jack graduated from Fenger High School in Chicago, IL. He retired with 31 years of ser-vice with US Steel in Chicago. Jack was the Warehouse Sup-ervisor for KSM Stud Welding Co., in Chicago where he retired after 17 years. He also had 15 years of service with the McDonalds McMasters Program. He proudly served his country for 2 years with the USMC during WWII from 1943-1945.
He is survived by his daughters Judy Wheeler (fiancee Don Latta), Jan Trueblood (Russ), niece Joyce Maggio, sisters Agnes Maggio (late Dominick), Shirley Brown (Bill), late Marion Closz (late Henry) and late Gertrude Wheeler, sister in law Mary LeMaire (late Lenny). Jack was also loved by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends and neighbors. He is also survived by grand-children, James, Roy (Tara) and Carri Campbell, Amy Muszynski, Matthew and Joshua Trueblood and great-grandchildren Jacob and Ariana Campbell, two living in Illinois and one great grandson arriving in May (Samuel Allen Trueblood). He was also loved by Chi-Chi and Kat and grand-dogs, Gator, Kamokie, Kailee, Brandy and Yukon and grand-kitty Tigger.
Visitation scheduled for Wednesday, February 26th from 6:00-8:00 PM and Thursday, February 27th from 6:00-9:00 PM.
Services on Friday, February 28th, 9:00 AM at Sunland Lakeside Chapel, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, Arizona.

Military service: U.S. Marines.
