CLAYTON, Roberta E. (Sam)

Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, March 5, 2008 Roberta E. (Sam) Clayton, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away on Feb. 29, 2008. Sam was born Sept. 1, 1946, in Jackson, Miss. She graduated from Clinton High School, Clinton, Miss., in 1964 and moved to Prescott in 1976 where she married William Clayton on Dec. 9, 1980. Sam retired from ADOT and the U.S.D.A. Forest Service, Bradshaw District, Prescott. She is survived by her husband William; her son Jeffrey; and her daughters, Tanya and Jodi. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2008, at Sacred Heart Church, Prescott, Ariz. Final arrangements were entrusted to the Hampton Funeral Home.
