FIAKAS, Waverly R.

Waverly R. Fiakas, 88, a resident of Phoenix for 42 years, went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2003. She is survived by: her sons Ray Reynolds and and wife Jean of Albuquerque, NM, Roy Reynolds and wife Judy of Albuquerque, NM and Reese Reynolds and wife Ann of Los Gatos, CA; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother Howard McCollum and wife Gladys of Amarillo, TX; and two sisters-in-law, Libby Elipas of Phoenix, AZ and Catherine McCollum of New Braunfels, TX.

Waverly was a bookkeeper for her architect husband James G. Fiakas until he passed away in 1986. She loved her family, church, golf, and many friends. Cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will be held in the North Phoenix Baptist Church Chapel on Saturday, June 7, 2003 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pastoral Care Dept. for Needy Families at the North Phoenix Baptist Church, 5757 North Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85012 or to a Hospice of the contributors choice.
