Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, March 13, 2008 Rita M. Coria - Edwards died March 10, 2008, at her home in Prescott Valley, Ariz. She was born July 31, 1943, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the daughter of Moses and Rene (Stapleton) Coria. Rita was 64 years old. Rita retired as a staff assistant for the Bureau of Land Management. She was proudest of working on the wild horse and burro adoption program with the BLM. She loved to dance, and the family fondly remembers her dancing with the West Valley Boot Scootin’ in Peoria. She enjoyed photography, taking pictures of the family and friends or the beautiful Arizona landscape. Rita is survived by her husband, Lynn; daughters Patty Anderton (Donna Pottorff) of Scottsdale, Lisa Anderton of Surprise and Sherry (Colt) Dodrill of Las Vegas; brothers Mark and Billy Welch; sisters Sylvia Linde and Charlene Welch; grandchildren Hailee, Cheyne, Tylor and Tanner. A celebration of Rita’s life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mingus Foothills Ward, 7885 E. Long Look Dr., Prescott Valley, Ariz., with visitation one hour prior in the Relief Society room. Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel is assisting the family.
