The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, March 7, 2003 Mother Clydia Lee Hubbard Turman, age 91 of Peoria died on March 4, 2003. A native of Goodrich, TX, she relocated to Phoenix to live with her late Aunt and Uncle, Bishop J.W. and Ada Taylor, and became affiliated with the First Church of God In Christ where she served for many years. She is survived by her children; Beverly V. Hunter, Virgil R. Turman, Vestula T. Turman and Fred D.Turman. A sister; Ada Lester, a beloved son-in-law; Gerald Hunter, daughter-in-law; Frances Turman. 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will recieve friends on Sunday, March 9, 2003 from 2:00 p.m.-3:30p.m. at Universal Memorial Center, 1100 E. Jefferson St. Homegoing services will be celebrated on Monday, 10:00 a.m. from Cathedral Christian Center, 16635 N. 51st Ave, Glendale, Az. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
