The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, March 7, 2003 Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Vail-Alexander, of Phoenix, Arizona, went peacefully into the arms of our Lord on March 4, 2003. She went to Heaven to be with her soul mate Beufort "Buz" Faultner, her parents Virgil Tolly and Willie Mae Vail, and her beloved dog Sheena. Beth was born February 14, 1942 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. A true Survivor, she suffered with polio as a small child and triumphed over 2 rounds of breast cancer. She worked for 47 of her 61 years in this life. Beth was a very loving and giving person to everyone she knew. She was absolutely the Best Mother, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, and Friend anyone could have ever asked for. She was a Blessing to all who knew her. She loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart and she always went above and beyond when asked for anything. Now, at last, she can rest and be at peace. Beth is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Thomas; son-in-law, Donnie Thomas; 3 grandchildren, DJ, Brandon and Malissa Thomas; her brother, Curtis Vail; and many nieces, nephews and friends. "Mama, Grandma, Aunt Beth - we love you and you will never leave our hearts. We promise to never forget. We miss you more than these words can say. But, we understand that God wanted you more than we needed you. We look forward to the wonderful day that we will be together again, Be happy. And we will do our best to make you proud. We love you." Visitation to be held Friday, March 7, 2003 from 10-12 pm. Funeral Service to immediately follow at 12pm. All services will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary and Chapel, 719 North 27th Avenue, Phoenix.
