HOWELL, Jessie

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, March 8, 2003 Jessie Howell, a native of Phoenix, passed away March 6, 2003 at the age of 90. Jessie retired from Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph in 1977, with 47 years of service. She was a long time member of The Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors include two brothers, Charles Evan Howell Sr. (wife Betty) and Lee G. Howell. Jessie is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 11 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th St., in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Lung Association of Arizona.
