DIXON, John B. Daniel

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, March 9, 2003 John B. Daniel Dixon, 69, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on March 5, 2003. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 11, 1933 to Thurman & Marie "Garman" Dixon. John served in the United States Army in the Transportation Corps and was a Korean Veteran from June 1953 to May 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Rosilee (Dixon) Milburn. He leaves to mourn, his sisters, Cora Alice "Dixon" Norris, her husband Edward Norris and family of Lynchburg, Ohio, Marianna "Dixon" Rhoads, her husband Donald Rhoads and family of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Carol Ann Dixon of Dayton, Ohio. A graveside service honoring John will be held Monday, March 10, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Valley of the Sun Cemetery located at 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd. in Chandler, AZ. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
