The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, March 9, 2003 Jean C. Doroshenko, 76, was received into the Lord's loving arms on March 7, 2003. Jean was born on November 3, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Fromberg, Montana. She lived in Billings, Montana with her loving husband Jerry until 1999 when they moved to Chandler, Arizona. Jerry preceded her in their walk with the Lord in 2000 after 42 years of marriage. Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Tina and Tom Schreiber, her son John, sisters Millie Woolley, Big Timer, MT., Karla Norfleet, Rivervale, NJ, Shirley Hyde, Mesa, AZ, and brother Joe McDonough, Ridgecrest, CA. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Pat Eckes, Betty Pierce, brother, Jack Mc-Donough, and her mother and father. She has seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jean was a loving mother and her daughters best friend. She was a caring sister and a joy to all of her friends. She had a special love for her son-in-law Tom, who always made her smile. She loved to swim, read, play cards, and most of all spend time with her family. She worked as a legal secretary in Billings, Montana and retired in 1999. Her ten years with the former law firm of West, Patten, Bekkedahl & Green were a precious gift to her. Jean also enjoyed taking computer classes, line dancing and baby sitting her "granddog" Brandon. Jean touched the lives of everyone she met and will be remembered for her beautiful smile, laugh, compassion, strength and love. She will be missed by all those who loved her and we are comforted knowing that she is at peace with Our Lord. A special thanks to Connie, Judy and Dave from Hospice of the Valley for their compassion and kindness in helping Jean on her journey to her place in heaven. A celebration of her life will be held at Mountain Park Community Church at 2408 East Pecos Road, Phoenix on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at 2:00 PM. A reception will follow.
