KLUMP, Charles Henry

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, March 9, 2003 Charles Henry Klump, 74, of Scottsdale AZ, passed away Feb. 27, 2003. Born in Harbor Beach, MI on May 1, 1928, he was the owner/operator of Charlie Klump's Restaurant in Harbor Beach, MI for 25 years. In 1980, Charlie and his wife, Acie moved to Scottsdale, AZ where he worked for McCormick Ranch Golf Club as a chef, until his retirement in 2001. His wife, Acie, and oldest daughter, Jan, preceded him in death in 1996. He will be sadly missed by his 3 children: Randy Klump and his wife, Jackie of Rogers City MI, Jackie Geiger of Mesa AZ, and Eric Klump of Port Huron, MI; his sister, Marge Cottrell of Hallowell, Maine; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
