MCGINNIS, Hazel

Hazel (Doran) McGinnis, 90, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2002, in her own home, surrounded by her five daughters: Marjorie Grim, Tacoma, WA; Shirley  McGinnis, Phoenix, AZ; Charlotte Ralle, Phoenix, AZ; Sharon Shepherd, Phoenix, AZ;  Patricia Decker, Montrose, CO. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. 

Hazel was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, grew up and graduated from high school in La Belle, Missouri. She married Arthur Paul McGinnis on December 15, 1931. 

They  raised their family alternately in Illinois and Arizona and had lived in Kingman, AZ for 20 years prior to Paul's death in 1996. Hazel lived well and died well. She will be sorely missed by family and friends. 

Funeral Services: Monday, June 24th with visitation at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Avenue.
