The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, March 9, 2003 Douglas W. Quirk, 83 of Scottsdale passed away on March 1, 2003 in Scottsdale. Mr. Quirk was born on May 9, 1919 in Chicago, IL. He retired from General Electric as a mechanical engineer. He is survived by his wife, Connie, daughter, Patricia Sicklesteel (M.E. "Dutch"), and three grandsons, Brent, Cory, and Christopher Sicklesteel. Private services will be held. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2929 S. 48th St., Tempe, AZ 85282.
