TARVIN, Grover Franklin, Jr.


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, March 9, 2003 Grover Franklin Tarvin, Jr., 70, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Nov. 8, 1932. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Plumbers/Pipe Fitters Union until he retired. He married Lynn McEwin in 1956, and settled in Scottsdale, AZ. His children, Kate Lehman, Crystal Tarvin, Melissa Anderson and John Tarvin survive him. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sean Loren, Billy, Annie, Matthew, Heather, Grover, Meghann, Michelle, Danielle, Amanda, Candace, Carolin, Bailey, Chantel and his sister Dorothy. He is preceded in death by his wife Lynn, (2002) and children, Caroline Glass, (1992) and Grover F. Tarvin, (1999). Services were held through Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ.
