The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, March 9, 2003 Frank S. Young, 88, of Scottsdale, AZ, died Feb. 28, 2003. Born in Appleton, WI on Aug. 8, 1914, he moved to Arizona 23 years ago from Wisconsin. He was a graduate of Lake Forest Academy in Lake Forest, IL, Class of 1932. He was also a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, Class of 1936. At. Lawrence, Mr. Young was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. His wife was Carmen Negrescou who was also a graduate of Lawrence Uni-versity, Class of 1936. She preceded him in death. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II and for many years lived in Appleton where he served as General Purchasing Agent for the Thilmany Paper and Pulp Division of International Paper. Mr. Young enjoyed activities such as model railroading and was also an avid car enthusiast. After retiring, he and Carmen moved to Tucson, AZ, and then to Scottsdale where they lived at the Westminster Retirement Condo Association. Interment in Appleton, WI.
