TISCHLER, Stephen J.

Stephen J. Tischler, 68, of Sun City West, AZ, beloved husband of Carol Ann, father, and grandfather, passed away June 23, 2002 in Sun City, AZ at the age of 68. He was born December 30, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio, the third child to Stephen J. Tischler and Mary Barth who preceded him in death. A resident of Sun City West, AZ, Stephen moved here with his wife, Carol Ann, in 1994 from Lake Oswego, OR. Stephen worked for Canadian Pacific Railroad as a Regional Sales Manager for 30 plus years, retiring in 1993 to Arizona to enjoy his retirement on the golf course. He served his country in the U.S. Army enlisting October 31, 1955 and was honorably discharged August 14, 1957. He is a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Barnstormers, R.C. Flyers, A.A.M.A. and was an avid golfer. Stephen is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Tischler; three daughters, Debbie Urlacher of Yakima, WA, Karaynn Cannan of Buckeye, AZ, and Katherine Casey of Westminster, CA; two sons, Douglas Tischler of Oregon City, OR, and Steve Tischler of Beaverton, OR; one sister Cecilia Dzurec of West Lake, OH; one brother, Edward Tischler of Pioneer, CA; five grandchildren, Becca Tischler, Justin Akins, Alyssa Tischler, Grace Cannan and James Paul Cannan. Funeral Mass Thursday, June 27, 2002 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 14818 W. Deer Valley Dr., Sun City West, AZ.
