Mr. Johnston was born May 3, 1939 in Albuquerque, N.M. he had lived in Wickenburg for the past three years. Survivors include his wife, Debra J. Johnston; his mother, Mildred Johnston of Albuquerque; step-daughters Kay Morrison (pat), Teresa Hargis (Lonnie), and Deanna Gerdes; stepson Bill Countess (Judy); a sister, Nancy Tillery; a brother, Dick Johnston; 11 grandchildren. Services have been held. Frey Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
