The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Feb. 13, 2002, p. A7 Winon Maxon of Wittmann died Feb. 11, 2002 in Sun City West. She was 97. She was born March 9, 1904 in Jasper, Ark., and had lived in Arizona for 66 years. Survivors include her daughter Nancy Thornton; sister Eva Stout; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (Feb. 15) at the Baptist Church of Wittmann. Burial will be at the East Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave., in Phoenix.
