Dovie Mae "Donna" Christopher of Morristown, died Feb. 12 in Sun City West. She was 82.
Mrs. Christopher was born March 17, 1919 in Kooter, Mo. She had lived in Arizona for the past 53 years.
During World War II Donna worked as a "Rosie Riveter." She met L.K. "Chris" Christopher in St. Louis in 1942, and they later married. After the war their family moved to Phoenix.
In 1949 Donna attended Glendale Community College and became a nurse, and she worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix for many years.
She and her husband owned a business while raising their family.
She was a homemaker, a loving mother and wife, and loved flowers and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Chris, of Morristown; sons Thomas Christopher of Phoenix, Richard Christopher of Meridian, Idaho, and David Christopher of Nogales, Ariz.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services have been held.
