CONNER, Joel Norman

Joel “Joey” Norman Conner Joel “Joey” Norman Conner, 42, of Tacna, Arizona, passed away on April 6, 2006 from complications due to strokes. He was born December 6, 1963 in Placerville, California and retired from the Navy in March of 2005. Joey served our country with great pride and honor. Joel is survived by his mother, Harriet Conner, of Tacna, Ariz.; sons, Tony Rooney, of Snohomish, Wash. and Eric Conner, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; daughter, Amy Conner, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; wife for nine years, Karen Conner, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; brother, David Conner, of Sentinel, Ariz.; sister, Cindy Womack, of Tacna, Ariz.; and all his many friends and extended family. Joey was a good son, father, brother and friend. He will be missed by all. A viewing will be held in Joey’s honor at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, Az on April 11, 2006 at 10 a.m. Graveside services to follow at 11 a.m. at same location. A luncheon will be served after the services at 21813 N. Van Loo Dr., Maricopa for family and friends who wish to join.
