DOWNIE, Janice Marie

Former San Carlos resident Janice Marie Downie, 58, died Aug. 31, 2003 in Tucson. An Arizona resident for 19 years, she worked several years as a missionary on the San Carlos Apache Reservation. She also taught at a Christian school for a few years. Survivors include one son, Theodore Downie of Tucson; two brothers, George Downie of Tucson and Michael Downie of Wylie, Texas; and one sister, Marilyn Baker of Pittsburg, Kan. Funeral service was conducted Sept. 5 at Calvary Chapel in Tucson. A graveside service was also conducted Sept. 5 at Globe Cemetery. Miles Funeral Services of Globe assisted the family with arrangeme
