SHUPE, Gary Russell

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 13, 2002, p. A18 Gary Russell Shupe of Durango, Colo., and former Wickenburg resident, died March 6 in Durango. He was 56. Mr. Shupe was born Feb. 14, 1946 in Durango. He grew up in Bayfield, Colo., and after serving in the active Army Reserves from 1967-1973 moved to Arizona. While in Arizona he worked for Bearcat Manufacturing in Wickenburg, and then managed the Don Donnelly Stables in Apache Junction. He is survived by his wife Roberta of Durango; children Ravonaa Shupe, Justin Shupe, Anthony Shupe and Nachole Shupe, all of Durango; brother Don “Dobbin” Shupe of Bayfield; sister Juanita Jordan of Bayfield; grandchildren David Shupe, Damian Howell and Alexsa Howell – all of Durango – and Ashley Johanneck of Phoenix; and several nieces and nephew.
