Sharee Stout Miller was born on Jan. 13, 1933 in Phoenix to Albert H. Stout and Effie Webb. Her grandparents Albert H. Stout, Sr. and Frankie Fogel were pioneer ranchers in Gila Bend, Ariz.
Sharee passed away at her home in Wickenburg on July 19, 2002.
She married Del Brooks in 1949, and together they had three children. She later remarried and had one daughter.
Sharee was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother Albert H. Stout III "Sonny" and her husbands Del Brooks and Jake Miller.
She is survived by son Delbert D. Brooks and wife Vicki Cromwell; son Arthur Brooks and wife Julia Macias; daughter Bronwyn Brooks Wolf, daughter Tarwyn Tate Tattersall and husband David Tattersall; nine grandchildren: Denae Brooks, Del Brooks, Brandy Brooks, Michael Brooks, Michelle Wolf Quigley, Megan Wolf, Jake Brooks, Tyler Brooks and Beau Tattersall; three great-grandchildren: Rhett and Kiana Quigley and Kaya Wolfe-Sharpe; maternal aunt Lottie Webb Alcorn; nieces Candy Stout and Bunny Stout; nephews Albert H. Stout IV "Pistol" and Shay Stout; and many extended family and friends.
Sharee was a third-generation Arizonan and a member of the First Families of Arizona. She was immensely proud of her heritage and enjoyed sharing family histories and stories.
Her hobbies included gardening, canning fruits and vegetables, traveling, and visiting with her many friends.
A viewing and Catholic Mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 515 Norma St., Gila Bend, on Friday (July 26) at 11 a.m., with viewing one hour before.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in her name to the Gila Bend Historical Museum, c/o Town of Gila Bend, 644 Pima St., Gila Bend, AZ 85337.
Interment will be at the Gila Bend Cemetery. Ganley Funeral Home in Buckeye is handling all of the arrangements.
Pallbearers are Del Brooks, Michael Brooks, Shay Stout, Jake Brooks, Tyler Brooks, Cren Quigley and Jerome Sharpe.
