SHOEMAKE, Charles Cain

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 28, 2002, p. A15 Charles Cain Shoemake passed away Aug. 21, 2002 at the age of 85. Charles had lived in Arizona for 65 years, moving from Oklahoma to Prescott and then to Congress. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Prescott Elks Lodge. Two sisters, Ann Hill of Texas and Flora Louise Self of Oklahoma; one nephew, Darrell Hill of Oklahoma; and five nieces, Jodi McPherson and Virginia Jo Nichols of Texas, and Gwendolyn VonHolton, Donna Anthony and Ramona Neal of Oklahoma, survive him. No services were held.
