The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Oct 2, 2002 p. A18 Mildred A. Kennedy passed away Sept. 23, 2002 at her home in Congress, with family members at her side. She was 74. She was born in El Reno, Okla., on April 14, 1928. She was a bookkeeper for the family-owned construction company in California and an accomplished seamstress. She moved to Arizona six years ago from Olathe, Kan. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and she will be missed deeply. She is survived by her husband Gene of Congress; daughters Connie Jensen and husband Robert of Denison, Iowa, and Lana Warnicki and husband Jim of Wickenburg; sisters Pauline Spurr of East Moline, Ill., and Ruth Ellison of El Reno, Okla.; brothers Jimmy Davis, Floyd Davis and Richard Davis of El Reno; grandchildren Tammie Nervig of Weston, Neb., Dwane Jensen of San Francisco, Calif., Robert Samuels of Vista, Calif., Candice Trejo of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Kerry Harlow of Borrego Springs, Calif.; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date in El Reno, Okla. Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg handled local arrangements.
