The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 16, 2002 A24 Louise Mary Krause Craig A woman of great strength, humor and grace left this world on Oct. 10, 2002. A mercurial woman who spent her life graciously providing comfort to all her family and all her friends-she never met a stranger. Louise Mary Krause Craig began her life on July 19, 1915 in Fairfield, Ore. In her youth he graduated from Hollywood High School. After nursing school she became the director of the radiology department at the Los Angeles County Hospital in the early 40s. Having met the love of her life, the late Reg Craig, they ranched in Nevada, farmed in Maine, and managed mobile villages in California, then settled in Wickenburg in the early 60s to create Rancho Casitas Guest Ranch. She was active in her community, the Chamber of Commerce, Los Damas, the Hospital Auxiliary, the Wickenburg Booster Club and the Wickenburg Saddle Club. Her greatest pleasure, however, was in serving with undeniable joy her family, her guests and all those who came in contact wit her. Her laughter will echo, her presence will permeate all we do-she has filled the void of her departure with all the gifts we hold in her memory. Her parents Harry and Amy Krause and her sister Valerie Winnel preceded Louise Mary Krause Craig in death. In November of 1984, she suffered her greatest loss; that of her beloved husband of 43 years. She is survived by her loving children, her son and daughter-in-law Terry and Peggy Craig, her daughter Linda Craig Koughan and her daughter and son-in-law Cathy and Mike Billingsley, all of Wickenburg. Her grandchildren Lori and Ernie Jones, Mark Craig, Rodger and Jody Billingsley Dougherty, Michael and Cammi Billinglsley, Zachary and Kara Koughan.
