DOANE, Harriett Marie

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 23, 2002, p. A21 Harriett Marie Doane, 82, passed away Oct. 19. Harriett was born June 8, 1920 in Mineral Ridge, Ohio and moved to Wickenburg in 1989. Harriett was a volunteer at the Wickenburg Soroptimist Thrift Shop and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Blue Star Mother and Garden Club in Leavittsburg. Her hobbies were reading, crocheting, hat pin collecting and she enjoyed antiques. Harriett is survived by three children, Arvilla Rothermel, Morristown; Donald Doane, Franklin, Tenn. And Susan Ference, Sharpsville, Pa.; grandchildren Patricia Dennis, Morristown; Michelle Olak, Westerville, Ohio; Angela Chapa, Burlington, Ky.; Ryan Ference and Steven Ference, Sharpsville, Pa.; one great-grandchild Janesta Dennis, Morristown. She is preceded in death by husband Lyman R. Doane, son Richard Doane, brothers David R. Carnahan and Morris Carnahan, sisters Ella Truran and Evelyn Emerick. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 25 held at First Presbyterian Church, 180 N. Adams, Wickenburg. Frey Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
