Betty J. Gatlin, 65 passed away Oct. 13. Betty was born in Ordway, Colo. On June 14, 1937 to Joe and Martha Pahljina. 

Betty married Houston Gatlin in Tulsa, Okla. in 1961. Betty and Houston moved to Yuma, Ariz. in 1964 and then to Wickenburg in 1966. Because of Houston's job as a Highway Patrolman they left Wickenburg in 1972 and returned in 1984. Betty retired from the real estate business in 1990.

Betty loved to travel, especially along the Oregon coast, camping, fishing and sewing.

She is survived by her husband Houston, son Joe and his wife Heather of Phoenix; one sister June Jenson, Wray, Colo. 
Her mother and father, one brother John and one son Bobby precede Betty in death.

Services will be held Thursday Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 450 Rose Lane.

Frey Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
