The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 4, 2002 p. B7 Loyd Phillips of Salome, Ariz. died Dec. 1 in Peoria, Ariz, at age 81. Loyd was born in Tahoka, Texas on Feb 27, 1921. Loyd was a construction laborer. He is survived by daughters Jo Ann Moulton of Salome, Ariz.; Janet M. Shaffer of Keizer, Ore.; Jennifer G. Woodward of Osage City, Kan.; and Jill L. Hannemann of Redmond, Ore.; Son Larry G. Phillips of Maryland, Sister Francis Barnes of Redmond, Ore. Brother Arthur Phillips of Tucson, Ariz. Sixteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Contributions may be made in Mr. Phillip’s name to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85041. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Wickenburg Funeral Home.
