Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 18, 1996, A2 Maurice Owen Smith of Wickenburg, died Sept. 7 in Wickenburg. He was 70. Mr. Smith was born Aug 12, 1926 in Central Gardens, Calif. He had lived in Arizona for the past nine months coming from California. Survivors include his wife, Frances Smith of Durango, Colo.; sisters Esther Bailey of Indiana and Rose Girardin of Allison, Colo.; brothers Richard Smith of Durango and David Smith of Pagosa Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death of his parents, Clifford and Jeanetta (Coleman) Smith and his sister, Alicia (Lizer) Britt. Services will be held at a later date.
