Roger Kirkland Glazebrook, Sr. of Bandon, Ore. and a former longtime Wickenburg resident, died Jul 26 at his home in Bandon. He was 66.
Mr. Glazebrook was born Nov. 23, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Mr. Glazebrook had lived in Bandon for the last 10 years. Prior to that he had lived in Wickenburg for many years with his family. In Bandon, he operated Roger’s Lock and Key shop.
Mr. Glazebrook was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Technical Sergeant. He was a member of the Bandon VFW Post No. 3340, and was also a member of the Wickenburg Elks Lodge No. 2140. He was a past member of the Bandon and Wickenburg Lions Clubs.
Survivors include his wife, Vada of Bandon; two sons, Richard of Paradise Valley and James Boggs of Glendale; brothers Thomas “Tex” Glazebrook of Oklahoma City; sister Mary Holloway of Oklahoma City;’ and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret “Peggy” Glazebrook; by his son Roger Glazebrook, Jr; and daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Ray Jacobs and two grandchildren, Jessica and Christopher Jacobs.
A memorial mass will be Thursday Aug 1 Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bandon, followed by private burial services.
