James Preston Smith of Sun City, died Aug. 19 in Wikieup.  He was 67.

Mr. Smith was born June 20, 1929 in Memphis, Tenn.  He had lived in Arizona for the past 20 years, coming from Nebraska.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Marilyn; daughter Beverly Martinovich of Wickenburg and Pamela Larrow of Tucson; son David Smith of Tucson; sister-in-law Grace Belford of Youngtown; and five grandchildren.

Services have already been held.
