Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 3, 1996, p. A2 Donald J. Hedgren of Wickenburg, died June 29 in Wickenburg. He was 57. Mr. Hedgren was born July 15, 1938 in Chicago, Ill. He had lived in Arizona for seven years coming from Illinois. Mr. Hedgren was a carpenter and construction worker. He worked throughout the United States on government projects. He most recently worked on building Robson’s Mining World. He was an accomplished artist working with painting, sketching and portraits. He was also a voracious reader. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Carole of Wickenburg, sister Penny Narges; brothers Robert Vink and Rudy, Dennis Dale and Ron Hedgren; brother-in-law Ron Badowski of Wickenburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 3 (today) in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery, with burial following. Fr. John Voigt will officiate.
