Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 3, 1996, p. A2 Linda Gail Place of Prescott died June 30 at her home in Prescott. She was 43. Ms. Place was born July 23, 1952 in Watertown, N.Y. She had lived in Arizona since she was 5 years old, moving here with her family in 1957. Ms. Place was a former Bagdad resident, and attended schools there. She enjoyed traveling and shopping, along with cooking, baking, canning fruits and reading. She also loved animals. Survivors include her brother, Maynard Place of Chino Valley; her sister, Karen S. Place of Prescott; one niece; one nephew; and one great-niece. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 3 (today) at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, cortex and Carlton, in Prescott. The rev. Dan Hurlbert will officiate. Private inurnment will be conducted at a later date.
