Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona February 28, 1996, p. A2 George Washington James, of Wickenburg, died Feb. 21 in Wickenburg. He was 95. Mr. James was a retired road builder for Warren Northwest Company. He and his wife, Frances, moved to Wickenburg 25 years ago from John Day, Ore. They were members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wickenburg. He is survived by his wife, Frances S., of Wickenburg; daughters Patricia June Moe of Salem, Ore. And Dorothy Tucker of Westbrook Village; son George W. James, Jr. of Sun City West; 13 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. There will be no formal services. Mr. James’ cremate remains will be scattered in the desert that he loved and where he and his wife spent many happy hours. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. James’ name to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 450 Rose Lane, Wickenburg, Ariz. 85890
