RESNER, Otto


Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona February 28, 1996, p. A2 Otto Resner of Congress, died Feb. 26 in Camp Verde. He was 86. Mr. Resner was born May 6, 1909 in Cutter, N.M. He had lived in Arizona for 76 years, coming from New Mexico. Mr. Resner was a rancher on his own place in Yarnell. He was a World War 11 Army veteran; His great joy in life was to find a family with children who were in need. He would help them financially, buy them candy and spend time with them. He also donated money to various missions around the world. Because of his love of the Lord, it was said he was generous to a fault. He also enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his sister, Dona Fitts of Payson; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Marguerite Johnson. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. at the Genung Memorial Cemetery in Peeples Valley with burial to follow. Pastor Duane Middleton will officiate. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Services was in charge of all arrangements.
