Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 6, 1996, p. A2 Elmer Claude Moats, of Yarnell and Laramie, Wyo., died Feb 28 in Yarnell. He was 87. Mr. Moats was born May3, 1908 in Morgan, Ill. His hobbies include rock hounding, hunting, fishing, making jewelry and furniture, painting and writing poetry. He also enjoyed sharing his good with friend and family. He and his wife were winter residents in Yarnell for several years. He is survived by sons Robert C. of Phoenix and Gary W. of Laramie, Wyo.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services have been held in Wyoming. Interment was in Greenhill Cemetery, Laramie, Wyo. Arrangements were handled by Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home.
