Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 27, 1996, p. A2 Nathan “Slim” Williford of Wickenburg, died March 19 in Peoria. He was 73. Mr. Williford was born Dec. 19, 1922 in Altha, Fla. He had lived in Arizona for six years coming here from California. Mr. Williford, a retired truck driver, was an honored World War II Army veteran. He enjoyed gold prospecting as a hobby. He is survived by his wife, Darlene; and step-daughter Melodi Boyd, Karen Gissin, JoAnn Peters, Ilene Garner, and Rosemary Shackelford. Private family services have been held. Frey funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of all arrangement.
